It's quite a process, and includes removing the steering wheel as well as the air bag assembly. If you do not have experience working with live air bags, now would not be the time to try to learn. On the other hand... Before you replace the lock cylinder, try a little graphite. Spray some graphite into the key slot then work the key for a while. It may take up to a half hour or more of spraying and working the key before the tumblers free up. In the long run, the graphite is a lot less expensive, and in my opinion, a safer option, since it doesn't run the risk of discharging the air bag.
