Probably on the engine end of the upper radiator hose in a removable housing i have an '03 6.0L, the thermostat housing is part of/bolted to the water pump, where the top radiator hose comes into it. tweek
On a Chevy CK 1500 with a 6-cylinder engine, the thermostat is typically located on the engine block, near the top of the engine, under the housing connected to the upper radiator hose. To access it, you'll generally need to remove the thermostat housing, which is secured by bolts. Make sure to drain the coolant before attempting to replace the thermostat to avoid spills.
Could be the coolant temp sensor located next to the thermostat housing.
The thermostat is located on the engine on a 1998 GMC Sierra 1500 standard. The thermostat can be found by following the upper radiator hose directly to the thermostat,
iN THE ENGINE END OF THE UPPER RAD HOSE. WHEN REPLACING IT MAKE SURE THE SPRING GOES TOWARD THE ENGINE.
you blow it up
The spring on the thermostat goes down towards the engine.
Just follow the top radiator hose to the engine and you will see were it clamps onto a housing that has 2 bolts holding it to the engine. It will be under that housing.
The spring goes down in the engine
It is next to the thermostat housing.
The starter solenoid on a 1998 Chevy 1500 is located on the starter. It is on the top with a positive cable connecting it to the starter.
It's in the housing connected to your upper radiator hose.
follow the upper radiator hose it would be right at the end of that
