The thermostat is located where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine.
Six cyl or 8 cyl
4 cyl = 180 thermostat 6 cyl = 195 thermostat
I have a '95 E150 and a '96 E250, both are 4.9 straight 6 cyl. One has 1 O2 sensor and the other has 2, one on each half of the exhayst manifold. I believe the 96 has 2. but it is an E250, not sure about the '96 E150.
It has a 6 cyl, 3 litre engine
where is the thermostat located on 1996 mitsubishi galant 4 cyl
1-3-4-2 is standard firing order for 4 cyl engines
On the 4 cyl models the thermostat housing is located just above the water pump and is bolted to the enging block. Just follow the upper radiator hose to the engine from the radiator. On the 6 cyl models the thermostat housing is located at the top front-middle of the engine at the front of the intake manifold. Follow the upper radiator hose. Unbolt the thermostat housing Clean the mating surfaces and Re-Install a new stat using gasket sealer with the copper pellet end of the thermostat facing in towards the engine.
Thermostat is on the back of the cyl head up at the bulkhead, follow top rad hose back and you will find thermostat housing.
4 cyl, it is where the upper hose hooks to the engine.6 cyl, it is where the lower radiator hose hooks to the engine.
4 cyl it is under the upper hose attachment. 6 cyl under the lower radiator hose attachment.
Wher is the thermostat housing located on the Jetta 2.5 5 cyl and how much rad fluid is needed once i replace he thermostat?
Not that I have seen
