On the 6 cyl models the thermostat housing is located at the top front-middle of the engine at the front of the intake manifold. Follow the upper radiator hose. Unbolt the thermostat housing Clean the mating surfaces and Re-Install a new stat using gasket sealer with the copper pellet end of the thermostat facing in towards the engine.
