there is none its controled by the tps sensor located on the pleteum
goes to the port on the throttle body beside the vacuum advance port there should be a sticker diagram under the hood showing the vaccuum hose layout
You do not, this is controlled by the ECM through advance and retard of spark plug spark.
800rpm manual transmission, o degrees advance 1200rpm automatic transmission 4 degrees advance
The vacuum advance for your ignition system should be hooked to a ported vacuum source on the carburetor, typically located above the throttle plate. This allows the vacuum advance to operate only when the throttle is opened, providing additional timing as you accelerate. Avoid connecting it to a manifold vacuum source, as that would apply advance at idle, which can lead to engine performance issues. Always consult your vehicle's specifications for the best setup.
No, it's an "Advance Fee" scam. You send your money, and you do not get any "automatic" wealth, or any other kind of wealth.
I have one but cap and vaccuum advance are missing.
an electronic spark module basically takes the place of set of advance weights and vacumn advance. it reads input from different sensors and engine conditions and either pull time or advances it for load, speed, throttle position etc... an electronic spark module basically takes the place of set of advance weights and vacumn advance. it reads input from different sensors and engine conditions and either pull time or advances it for load, speed, throttle position etc...
ask advance auto
Your throttle valve switch (position sensor) is bad and need to be replaced.....this is located on the side of the throttle chamber. You can get this from Advance Auto for $60 and is easy to replace...
You can go to some parts stores--Advance, Auto zone, Napa, and buy you an aftermarket throttle cable bracket that you can bolt onto the carb. bolts are intake manifold that will hold the throttle cable and the transmission d-tent cable.
If the slide show is set to advance automatically you may have success if you press the "left arrow" key. Best is to edit the slide show and remove automatic (timed) advance.
Depends on the vehicle and how it is set up. Some are connected before the throttle plate (ported vacuum or delayed vacuum) and some are connected after the throttle plate (straight manifold vacuum). More info needed.
