I called a local garage and was directed by the service man.
The transmission dipstick is located in back of the oil fill cap. It is covered with a lever that must be lifted up to remove the dipstick. Mine is a rusty tube where the dipstick is found.
I would not have found it without the service man's direction.
If it is a manual transmission it has no dip stick just a fluid level plug

remove transmission dip stick and find a long small funnel (clean) and insert it into dip stick tube and add appropriate tranny fluid with engine RUNNING !
