It will be on the bottom of the transmission
It is between the pan and transmission case.
Remove the transmission oil pan. You'll need a new filter and gasket. After you remove the pan, clean the pan, replace the filter and put the pan back in place using the new gasket. Then fill the transmission
You will need a new oil pan gasket when the oil pan gasket leaks. It is recommended that you use a new oil pan gasket every time you remove the oil pan.

There is no gasket between the engine and transmission. The torque converter inspection plate does have a dust seal on it.
The transmission filter is located in the bottom of the transmission under the oil pan. You have to drop the oil pan to access it but the filter should come with a new gasket.
Remove the transmission oil pan. CAUTION the pan has no oil drain meaning that if you remove the bolts and hit the pan five quarts of fluid will come out. There is no gasket on the pan it is sealed with silicone.

Transmission filters are INSIDE the transmission. You need to remove the transmission oil pan. When you replace the filter, plan on replacing the pan gasket as well.
You remove the bolts to the oil pan and the pull the oil pan off and the gasket.
