not sure but check your fuse box. There are both fuses and relays there.
It is located in the fuse box. The fuse box is under the hood on the drivers side. It's the large black fuse. To test if it's working, turn on the turn signal and listen/feel the relay.

I think the part u r looking for is located inside the steering column just forward of the turn signal
I just changed a turn signal bulb in my 2001 330xi. I found the answer on Wiki. Look for the question "How do you replace the front turn signal bulb located on a 2000 BMW 323?" Same design. On the steering columb just below the wheel. remove the lower cowel, it is clipped on to the side of the columb

The rear turn signal on the 2009 328i is an array of LEDs and isn't a single bulb which can be replaced. The whole assembly needs to be switched out.
Turn it counterclockwise to remove.
