If the transmission is the 3-speed 31TH, the speed sensor is located on the back of the transmission, follow the right side CV halfshaft, and the sensor is mounted right near where the inner CV joint splines into the differential. If it's the 4-speed transmission (not likely), it would be located on the front of the transmission. I suggest getting a Haynes Repair Manual, it should verify the location.
