This greatly depends on your keyboard and the age of it and whether it is a laptop or desktop system.
On a standard 101/2 key PC keyboard, there is a windows next to the "Ctrl" key in the lower left corner.
Some also have one on the other end of the same row. (older keyboards didn't have windows keys).
Note :- On a Mac (Apple) computer there aren't any windows keys.

If i am not mistaken there isn't a run key on a keyboard the run key is found under the start if you have windows xp an under the window icon if you have vista.
To close the window just press Escape on your keyboard (ESC).
