The two largest sources of shale oil on the planet are in the western portion of the USA. It is far larger then all the Middle East. The Green River reserve alone contains over 4 trillion barrels. That is roughly 400 years of oil in just that reserve. The North Dakota reserve is not quite as large, but up there.
We have no energy shortage, just a lack of will.
Underqround over millions of years.
Fossil fuels were once living plants and animals. They died and soaked up energy from the sun. They then got buried and we dig them up now.
Fossil fuels are usually burnt in most industrial process. This s considered to be the highest source of carbon dioxide which pollutes the environment.
Eventually, fossil fuels will run out.Fossil fuels cause a lot of pollution.
a lot:)
The pollution from the cars is hazardous to the air quality from fossil fuels. Fossil fuels have to burn a lot of gas and coal in order for cars to get driving.

The main advantage is that the government earns a lot of taxes on fossil fuels. Another advantage is the energy density, because it is higher than on alternative fuels.

Non renewable energy consists a lot of fossil fuels, so I'll tell you about FOSSIL FUELS. Primary energy consumption of fossil fuels was 86.4% worldwide. That's really all I can remember!
Nonrenewable fossil fuels, like oil and coal, store a lot chemical energy in the bonds between its molecules. When these fossil fuels are burned, the chemical energy is released.
Yes! They are used a lot in almost everything we use today!
