Right on top of the motor, in the front/center. Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine block. That domed housing hides your thermostat and is held on with three bolts if i remember right, possibly two. One is a pain to get to with the throttle body bracket on top. A Chilton or Haynes Manual will help immensely with this and future repairs. It's saved me $100's on my 1999 ZR-2.

Your best bet would be to get a suspension lift for your blazer, and that will actually exceed the Zr2 Suspension package. I recommend a BDS 6'' lift, but you can just google and find many choices.
