The dripstick is under the air filter tube , front driver side. Remove the tube from the air filter to the Air Mass unit. You will find it right there.

You need to add transmission fluid where is the transmission fluid reservoir on a 99 ford f-150?
If this is an automatic then you the add fluid through the opening that the tranny dipstick came out of. You will have to get a funnel with a long slender tapering end on it. Can get one at the local part store for a couple of bucks.

manual tranny's take gear oil not tranny fluid. you need to get all that fluid out and fill the tranny with 80/90 weight gear oil
