the filter is located inside the transmission fluid pan. There is often a drain plug which will allow the transimission fluid to be drained out. From there the pan is held on by numerous bolts which circle the pan. Once removed the filter is located inside. You will need a new gasket to go on when you re install the pan. Also new transmission fluid.
