It is a trash basket. A corbeille as pain is a bread basket. A corbeille a linge is a laundry basket. A corbeille de fleur is a flower basket. A corbeille a papier is a waste paper basket
It can be said to be like a waste basket or a trash can.
Click on the Miro icon (usually found in the Applications folder) and drag it to the Trash basket in the Dock, or right click on the icon and select Move to Trash from the menu, and then when you empty the Trash the application will be deleted.
A small correction: basura means TRASH, not trash can. Maybe you were thinking of "Basurero". Anyways, another way to say trash can would be "Bote de basura". P.S. Papelera is more like "wastepaper basket" than "trash can"
To delete the Skype application either drag it to the Trash icon in the dock or Right click on the application's icon and select Move To Trash from the menu. Click and hold on the Trash icon and select Empty Trash from the pop up menu.
throw the gum (chewing gum) in the paper/trash basket
Click on the Trash basket icon to open the Trash window. Locate the iTunes icon and click on it and drag it back into the Applications folder.
Can any body tell me how to delete files premanently in Mac OS instead of moving them to Trash and then emptying it.There's no such shortcut on mac unfortunately. However, it can performed by writing an apple script. Check this forum....http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20071114065424440I used it before and it did work.
