The passage you have in mind might be located in Matthew 10.
Before. The Bible mentions his father when describing the early life of Jesus but it does not mention his father during the time after the start of Jesus's ministry. Hmm. I can't say now if there is a scripture that says his father died but it does mention his Mother and brothers so it may be assumed he was dead. I'm sure there is a verse somewhere.
Jesus step father is Joseph, because god gave Jesus to Mary and Joseph
GOD THE FATHER
A bible verse about Jesus being the way isJohn 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing
John 14:9 Whoever has seen Me, has seen the Father.
Philip's question, which is recorded in John 14:8, precedes a lengthy discourse by Jesus which runs from verse 9 through verse 21, but Jesus' immediate response to the question was:"Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?" [NKJV]
God the Father is speaking to Peter, James and John saying that Jesus is His son and that they should listen to Jesus. An audible voice from the Father in heaven was also heard by bye standers at Jesus baptism saying the same thing, this is my beloved son listen to Him.
No there is no verse mentioning it.Another answer:John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [NKJV]
You will find written in John 10 a comment from Jesus Christ John 10 30 I and my Father are one. Therefore if the holy spirit be of our Father and Jesus and our Father are one. There is a connection formed between our Father, his Spirit (the Holy Spirit) and Jesus. There are other documented connections of this same subject Isaiah 7:14 where Jesus is referred to by our Father as immanuel (aka El with us some interpret as God with us) John 1:1 is the most often quoted verse to make the connection between our Father, his Spirit and Jesus.
The best parable I like of Jesus is the Prodigal Son. It is in the book of Luke chapter 15 verse 11 to verse 32. It shows us God the father is waiting patiently for us to return to him from our sins.
Matthew 10:33 - 33 but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven. 2 Timothy 2:12 - 12 if we endure, we shall also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us.
