There is a web site www.idqusa.com where there is helpfull information about your vehicle ac system. There is a lowside port locator on there.
The low side will always be the suction side, the larger hose.....
The S port is the Suction and its the low side. The D stands for Discharge and its your high side.
On the suction side only if you are just using a do it yourself kit........ The low side service port is on the suction side (larger hose) and the high side service port is on the discharge hose (smaller hose)......
Its on the low side (suction side) from the compressor to the accumulator........

Driver side.
The low-side service port on a 1995 Ford Taurus is located on the suction side of the air conditioning system. You'll typically find it on the larger diameter aluminum line that runs from the evaporator to the compressor. It is usually situated near the firewall on the passenger side of the vehicle. Look for a valve with a blue or black cap, which is where you would connect the A/C manifold gauge set.
Its on the suction (low) side hose coming from the accumulator going to the evaporator...
The low side service port is located on the suction side hose going to the a/c accumulator on the passengers side right next to the strut tower......
