There is no "official" date on which Christmas is over. A lot of the "pace" or "timing" of the Holidays is set by retailers, but each of us has (or can adopt) his own Traditions. A lot of folks might say that Christmas extends up to New Year's Eve. They may be right. Personally, Christmas is a Holiday that belongs in the heart all year 'round. ______________________________ Technically, the Christmas season begins 4 weeks ahead, at Advent. After December 25th, the "Twelve Days of Christmas" begin and last until Epiphany, January 6th.

Christmas, Florida is a community that keeps Christmas decorations year round at several locations. The town was initially called Fort Christmas, but the name changed to Christmas in 1892.
The Aztec calendar was the time-keeping system that was used by the Aztecs as well as other people throughout ancient Mesoamerica. The calendar had two parts: Xiuhpohualli -- a 365-day calendar, considered the agricultural calendar. Tonalpohualli -- a 260-day calendar, considered the ritual/sacred calendar. The two cycles together formed a 52-year calendar round.
The Aztecs carved a calendar on a huge round stone known as the Aztec Sun Stone, or Stone of the Sun. It consists of intricate symbols and images representing the Aztec calendar system and cosmology.
