I would first look at your local paper and/or online job listings to see if anywhere is hiring driving instructors. If not, you could start up your own class.
take courses and school a good school like smart-drivers.co.uk or other good dit trainers. In Ontario, Canada you have to go to the Ministry of transportation, get a driving instructors package, you have to pay a fee, take the written test and then pass a G2 exit road test. the road test can be done after you complete a driving instructors course. If you fail the road test twice you cannot retest for a year, and make sure you practice the basics before you go test, your bad habits you have will fail you....Also you cannot have any points on your licence and if at any point you have more than 3 points on your licence you lose your driving instructor licence. You will also have to pass a police background check, the ministry does this when you apply. There are two types of courses: In Car Instructor and In Class Instructor These courses are offed by Humber College by Canadian prodrivers and by the Ontario safety league

In the UK you can teach sit with a learner driver and teach then to drive if you hold a full valid driving licence for the vehicle being driven so long as it is not as a business. To work as a driving instructor most organisations would require that you have held a full licence for at least three years. In addition to become a qualified and approved driving instructor (ADI) you must also undergo training and testing by the Department of Transport. To be employed as a driving instructor you must either have passed the approved course or be 'under instruction'.
You should slow down, and always read any of the signs that are up.
There are online driving schools that can help you with your driving, but you will still need to have instruction with the actual driving part, and of course, experience in it. onlinedrivingschool.org should help you.
It depends on your life style and work. As a driving instructor I can spend 6 or more hours a day driving. Most people probably spend 2 hours or less a day driving. As a truck driver, I may spend as much as 9 hours driving. The law allows me to drive 11 hours before I am required to take a 10 hour break.
Search for a local Guide Dog school in your area, many have openings for volunteers where you can work your way up.
Some companies do let you claim gas and mileage for driving to a work meeting. You should check with your company before making the trip.
