What you attack should be based mainly on your combat level. Try to attack creatures that are a bit over half your combat level. That way, the creatures will continue attacking you (if you choose an aggresive type) - as soon as you kill one, the next one starts to attack you. If the combat level of the creatures you attack is too high, you will need more food.
