Gas is gasoline while petrol is a byproduct of semen
Depends on what engine it is. Gas/petrol, diesel, twostroke.........

HI, The main difference is that a diesel engine uses compression to ignite its fuel, and a gas engine is the same as a petrol, it uses a spark to ignite its fuel. Diesel engines are more fuel efficient than petrol or gas. For instance if a diesel used 10 liters per 100kms a petrol engine of the same size in the same car would use roughly 12 liters per 100kms and a gas engine 15 liters per 100kms. Diesel engines are more ruggedly built to withstand the shocks and forces produced by compression ignition and therefore will generally last longer. Gas though, is the cheapest fuel on the Australian market so it is the cheapest to run in fuel cost. Personally I'm a diesel mechanic so i would say diesels are better, but if your after short term savings on the fuel bill I would go for a gas engine
Basically diesel engines are much higher compression giving them more torque also the fuel is ignited by compression not a spark like in a gas engine
Kerosene is fuel for a diesel engine. gas is fuel for spark engines.
Because one has a petrol engine and the other has a diesel engine. Petrol/gasoline does not ignite the same way as diesel. It also does not have the lubrication qualities that diesel has. Gas in a diesel engine will damage the fuel system if the diesel very quickly.
The compressed petrol gas fuel is ignited by a spark plug thus causing the engines' power stroke.
Diesel engines are still 4-stroke (unless and early Detroit engine which were 2-stroke) only real difference between gas and diesel is fuel delivery and ignition.diesel uses high compression, fuel atomization and heat to fire cylinder, where gas engines need a ignition source.hope info was helpfull.
Either a carburetor or a fuel injector.
Steam engine: external combustion (the fuel is burnt in the boiler and the steam led through pipes etc to the power cylinder(s). Diesel (and petrol and gas): internal combustion - the fuel is burnt in the cylinder. Otherwise they are all Heat Engines.
Gasoline is made from petrol. Gas is made from the gas collected in the layer above the petrol. Gasoline is faster and safer. Gas is less expensive, but you can't put in a garage because it can blow or leak. Hope I'm helping you =)
Unleaded gas is petrol. In some countries they call it petrol and in others it is called gasoline or gas.
