Spies in the European Theater of World War 2 would use German Lugers, Walter PKs, hand grenades, and the ancient old weapon of fire, and if they were working with the Underground Resistance Network they could get machine guns from them, knives, and any other weapons the Underground managed to secure. Some spies carried no weapons but that was a rarity. Even the women spies would carry a pistol in their purses.
