You have to buy Ruby/Sapphire (whichever has a Sharpedo)
then you go to the route below Sandgem town (if you have got the National Dex), just follow the route and you'll reach something called a pal park, you have to save here and turn off your DS.
Insert R/S into the gba slot, catch a sharpedo on it then go back onto D/P, here you will see in the menu which says continue, new game, etc. you will see a migrate Pokemon from (chosen gba game) click this and touch the Pokemon you want.
Finally you need to walk into the pal park and go to the counter to enter a catching show, sharpedo is a water shark so head straight for the sea to your right. You can also do this with any Pokemon GBA games with any Pokemon on them. (Excluding Pokemon mystery dungeon) u can also catch a carvanha in great marsh with a super rod then evolve it
