You find it in the first Mine. To unlock the mine you have to go to the mine after 8:30 and Carter says some stuff and you unlock the first mine. Once you have completed that you go in after you have got to the bottem then after 8:30 go in there again and you will unlock the 2nd mine. You complete that then after 8:30 you unlock mine number 3. You only get 1 adamantite at each level and it will be random.
