Where to find iron in minecraft pocket edition?

I'm afraid that just like coal, iron ore is randomly populated in the level. There's no real way to know where exactly it is in the level. The best way to find any ore, however, is to explore a deep cave. As you explore the cave, keep your eyes on the walls for cubes that look like coal but are a butterscotch color. Be sure when exploring to bring a sturdy sword (or two) and plenty of torches.

While you often find coal peppered into the side of a mountain just walking about, it is stunningly rare to find iron just out in the open, but it does happen.

It is mostly found in caves, use a stone/iron/diamond/gold pickaxe to mine it and a furnace to smelt it into an iron ingot.

You can find iron anywhere underneath, but you need to be using a stone (or better) pickaxe to obtain it since a wooden pickaxe or your arms does not work.

You can get iron from going into caves you can find lots of caves in the Extreme Hills biome because there easy to see.

You must have a Stone Pick-Axe or Higher... then find iron ore and left click it (and hold) until it breaks into a block that you can pick up!

You can go mining underground, at about the level 5-54, you can find iron ore.
