smaller zoos will sometimes let you pet through a fence under supervision at certain times or for a 'donation'. otherwise you have to find someone who has them as a pet, be friendly to the animal trainers at the next circus in your town or contact an 'animal wrangler' who supplies animals for TV and movies that hopefully is close to you.
No, but there are pet owners who do own tigers in Florida, and of course there would be tigers in the zoos in Florida.

I am certain that many people do keep big cats like bobcats, tigers, and lions as pets. Tigers and lions are surprisingly easy and inexpensive to purchase as pets. This means anyone can own a large powerful carnivore whether or not they are equipped to properly care for them. Pet tigers have been involved in several fatalities and maulings in the US and Canada in recent years. However, even more pet tigers and other big cats end up neglected, abused, or given up to sanctuaries when their owners cannot care for them. But actually it's illegal in certain places.
Tigers? Yes. Wild Tigers? No. Tigers in the US are only in refuges and zoos. So don't go oout and go tiger scouting in Colorodo.
Yes they do, but it's not a trend. People have Penguins in Alaska as much as Americans have pet Tigers. ~Evony~

Oh yes, they will let you pet them. Tigers are feline however, and prone to taking a dislike to anyone, at anytime for no apparent reason. Never reach into a zoo exhibit to pet a tiger or any other wild animal for that matter. Even Tigers raised in captivity and a loving environment can decide to "Play" with you, but sure, they will let you pet them, maybe even twice, although the second time may have to be with your remaining arm.
