I put it right below the lower control arm bushing. There's a cross beam there too where you can put the jack stands
It could be anywhere. Nobody stores them in the same place. Check console, glove box, Jack location, etc.
Jack
To change a front tire, place the jack directly behind the tire. To change a back tire, place the jack directly in front of it. Try to get the jack under the tire axis.
To jack the front end of the 2006 Subaru Forester to change the oil first make sure you are on a flat surface. Then, place the jack behind the front wheel on either side of the vehicle on the frame. Subaru recommends that you use a lift rather than jack the car.
The front two jack points are on the 1997 model and the rear two are on the 1998 Sebring. Early 1998 models had the spare tire in the Jeep Grand Cherokie, while later editions had it in the 1998 Chrysler 300. Confusing? Could be worse! The mid 80s Dodge Omni Horizon's jack points weren't on Chrysler/Dodge maid cars! The front right point was on the Ford Fiesta, and the rest were on the VW Rabbit GTI editions!
it sits in our transmition toward the front of your van. you can only get to it from the bottom. so either jack your van or put it on blocks...
On a 1996 Ford Explorer : On the lower control arms on both sides of the vehicle you will see what looks like a hook ( or bar ) on the front side of the lower control arms The factory jack is placed there in order to change a front tire

If it is like my 98, you need to jack up the driver side front wheel and remove the wheel. There is a plate in the fender well that needs to be removed and then you can get at the battery which sits in a tray in the front fender in front of the driver's side front tire.
Loosen front lug nuts, raise front of vehicle with a floor jack, place suitable jack stands under the lower control arms, lower vehicle down on to the jack stands, remove front wheels, unbolt front shocks then remove them. Reverse procedure to install new ones.
The battery is in the left front fender. Jack up the car....... remove left front tire..... unscrew the plastic whell well in front of the tire.... there is the battery, GM series 75 SIDE POST battery
