no Alex rider does not die. there are nine books in the series and if you read all of them you obviously know the character Alex rider survive other wise there wouldn't be 8 other books (excluding stormbreaker) in the series, would there?!

Well, both have their differences. So, really its what your own personal preference is. I have read both and i like The Alex Rider series better. But there are a lot of people who think Pendragon is better. I would recommend reading both of the series. They are both worth reading and good books, which you like best is your own opinion.

Young Bond Series by Charlie Higson, Number 1 is Silver Fin 5. Tomorrow Series by John Marsden, Number 1 is Tomorrow When The War Began These are not in order of quality but I do think that Alex Rider is the best series to read.
