get rid of some of your team because you can find them at a higher level then train the Pokemon u really want when you train Pokemon, at the start just train your starter. When it evolves to final stage, use the EXP share (which u can get quite early) to train other Pokemon. For exmaple, i defeated Fantina with a Lv. 35 Prinplup that evolved to Empoleon after the match. My other Pokemon were Lv 25 budew and Lv 22 Luxio. After the battle, i began using the EXP share. So if i were u, I'd start again...
