they might live under a rock but they live under the sand during the winter
Green sea turtles live in salty water.
In the Sea
no they live in sea weed.
No. Turtles live in the ocean, in fresh water, or on land.
under water
There are two types of turtles: Freshwater turtles and sea turtles. All freshwater turtles live mostly in water but often climb onto rocks and land to bask in the sun, mate, and lay eggs. Sea turtles don't bask in the sun, but they mate and lay eggs on land. Freshwater turtles live in rivers and lakes, and sea turtles live in the ocean.
I wouldn't think that there would be any sea turtles in a zoo because sea turtles live in the sea not in a freshwater habitat. But you never know there might be. They would just have to live in salt water.
They (as well as tortoises, their close relatives in the reptile world) have protective shells. Turtle also live in the water, sometimes even the sea.
yes sea turtles live in the ocean
They have to live in water to breath in.
Salt only.
If you mean, "are all under water creatures, sea creatures?" then no. The term SEA is for the ocean and there also can be creatures in freshwater. Also some creatures that live in water such as some snakes and sea turtles come out of the water every so often, so they are no total sea/water creatures. Fish are underwater creatures though.
