Anubis IS a God of ancient Egypt, with jackal like features. The religion itself is not dead. Refer to the Pyramids and how they align with the stars in the sky (Yes go take a look). The queen aligns with Sirius and the King, Osiris (Orions belt). A 3 mile long Pyramid has been found on planet Sirius. Anubis helps with the afterlife and it is not mythology. The hieroglyphics still tell the answers and people are still ignoring them. Ancient Egyptians painted what they SAW and what they believed in. Refer to Kemet.

Anubis in Egyptian myth was born a god. In some stories, Anubis is the son of Ra and Nephthys, or Set and Nephthys (probably due to Set and Anubis having the same totem animal). Some have Heset as his mother, and still others say Bast. This apparent confusion is still another sign of Anubis' origins in the most ancient of times. He also has a daughter, Kabechet, who helps him in the mummification
