Bach wrote a number of pieces called "Aria." Perhaps his most famous one is the "Air" from the 3rd orchestral suite in D, familiarly known as "Air on the G string." The third suite was composed some time between 1717 and 1723; it's not known when it was first performed.
The Brandenburg Concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach were first performed in the court of the Margrave of Brandenburg, Christian Ludwig, in the early 18th century. The exact location is believed to be in the city of Potsdam, near Berlin, where Bach dedicated these works to the Margrave in 1721. These concertos showcase Bach's innovative style and mastery of instrumental composition.

It is a major organ solo work which requires great dexterity at the organ console for the hands as well as the feet. Probably one of JS Bach's most famous (and often performed too often in concerts) and prestigious pieces.
