The King (or Queen's) court was wherever they were, the court followed them. There were a number of Royal Palaces in Henry's day he but is probably most associated with Hampton Court Palace which he extensively rebuilt to house the court which could number up to 1,000. He was born at Greenwich Palace, lived at Windsor Castle(where he died), Westminster Palace, Whitehall Palace, the Tower of London, St James's Palace, Hatfield House and Baynard's Castle at various stages.
