Assuming you're talking about Pluto being 'demoted' from planet status... Scientists have decided (after much deliberation and calculations) - that Pluto actually belongs to the Kuiper belt - a ring-shaped area of objects that orbits our Sun beyond the rest of he solar system.
Whilst Pluto does indeed orbit our Sun along with the rest of the planets in our solar system, It is far too close to the Kuiper belt to have an 'exclusive' orbit. Additionally - there are other objects in the Kuiper belt that have a greater mass than Pluto.
