Barbados, in a wealthy family...he got married and then left his wife in 1717 because he was bored and hated her nagging him all the time. he was a pirate and was in a gang with his good friend blackbeard and also Charles vane. they were called the flyers just like the Philidelphia hockey team. he first sailed in the revenge but since no one wanted revenge on him he just called there ship the Royal James. He understood the way of the sword even better then blackbeard did. blackbeard only had pistols. he had the nickname called a the "Gentlemen Pirate." Then in 1718 he was hung in Charleston. he was only a pirate for 1 year. But out of all his years in the life of crime he as one of the only pirate who bought his own ship and he also paid his crew too but...that is a quick summary of the pirate Stede Bonnet.
