Before the Religious Society of Friends in Philadelphia Yearly Meeting rejoined in the 1950's, one branch was on Race Street (the Hicksite Branch), the other was on Arch Street (the Orthodox branch). The Arch Street meetinghouse is the oldest one still in use by the Society anywhere in the US, being built in 1804.
