in the 1800's i think
Back then, before toilets have been invented, people used outhouses, chamber pots, honey buckets, and holes in the ground. After using such means, people usually have to clear them, and there in the past in the olden days, there is a job specially created to clear such buckets, chamber pots and such.the people also used ditches and buckets and just anything they could go in but now we have the toilets we use now. They held it in until they invested an out house

In the "olden days", they didn't have toilets (I'm assuming you mean the porcelain fixture that you urinate and/or defecate into). Some terms that I'm aware of from when they were first becoming popular: sanitary facility, water closet, wc.
The adjective "olden" means "earlier" or "former" as in olden days and olden times, and is used to refer to any of several time periods, including the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, Colonial America, or as late as the late 19th century.
