Sparta & Athens!!
Athen's empire and the Peloponnesian League lead by the SPARTANS!!!
About twenty-seven years, from 431 to 404 BC. Hostilities were halted for several years in the middle of the war, but they resumed.
It was when Sparta and Athens, two Greecian city-states, fought because Sparta didn't like the way Athens used their money to buy land from other city-states and conquer city-states. Later Sparta won, Athens surrendered and they signed a treaty. It was AWESOME. See the movie 300 for more info. Or maybe you should go get a text book. Maybe even look it up on google.com. Their pretty cool.

The Great War. The Great War. The Great War. The Great War.

what war is the poem "war is kind" about
the war of 1812 was ''the forgotten war''
The term "hot war" was only used in conjuction with the term "cold war." Cold war meaning no war; hot war meaning a war.
