The Canadian Rodeo Finals are going to be held during the dates of the 6th and the 10th of November 2013. The Canadian rodeo finals will be held in Edmonton.

The concept of selecting a young lady to represent professional rodeo began in 1955 when Marilyn Scott of Wyoming was selected as the first Miss Rodeo America. The Miss Rodeo America Pageant is held annually in conjunction with the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, in Las Vegas, Nevada. In order to compete contestants must first win their state competition. They are judges on horsemanship, personality, appearance, rodeo knowledge & presentation. Miss Rodeo USA represents the International Professional Rodeo Association the first pageant was in 1966. The Miss Rodeo USA Pageant is held annually January in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In order to compete contestants may represent a rodeo, stock contractor, producer, or other sponsor. Contestants are judged on personality, appearance and horsemanship.
