In the pre-order of halo reach legendary edition you get a book describing all of his suit and what spartans do and all that but it also shows what master chief looks like as a cartoon kid before he was captured and trained to be a highly advanced super soldier by the UNSC and it shows him with blue eyes and freckles and i'm just guessing this but i think hes pale because how do you get a tan in that suit and he has to be muscular because in the book it said the armor he has is exactly 1000 pounds
