In the audience and anywhere there are crowds of people
Cut purses, or pickpockets, would likely operate in crowded areas of the Globe Theatre, particularly near entrances and exits where audiences gathered. During performances, they might take advantage of the distraction created by the show, targeting those engrossed in the play or engaged in conversation. Additionally, busy areas like the pit, where commoners stood, would be prime spots for such thieves, as close proximity to the crowd would provide cover for their illicit activities.
A cut-purse is a thief. The modern day name would be a pick-pocket. They were called cut-purses because in the days when people carried their money in a bag (a purse) hung off their belts, the thieves would steell them by cutting the cord attaching the purse to the belt. Theatres were goo places for cut-purses to operate because they were crowded (people stood rather then sat) and peoples attention was focused on the stage/actors rather than their purses.
We don't know their exact names, but there were terms for different kinds of thieves. Pickpockets put their hands in people's pockets to take things out. Cutpurses cut the strings on people's purses and took them away. They did not operate only in theatres, of course. Churches and markets were also popular--anywhere where people were closely packed and jostled together.

If the scissors were being used to cut thicker paper, more force would be required to cut through it. This would increase the effort force needed to operate the scissors, making it harder for the user to cut through the thicker paper.
Hemisphere...?

To make a globe using paper, you can print out a template of a globe, cut it out, and then carefully fold and glue the pieces together to create a 3D shape.
