Depends on the country you live in. In Canada I would say its far and away the most popular winter sport propably equal in popularity with soccer. In the U.S.A. it is far down the list NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA football, NCAA Basketball, heck ini some cities it ranks below high school football or basketbal. Nascar is more popular as well.
