If you wear eyeglasses or contact lenses, then you depend on the

refraction of light every minute you're awake and have them on.

It's also kind of important if you ever want to use a telescope, a

microscope, a magnifying glass, or a camera.

To be perfectly honest with you, the eyes in your head could not work

without refraction.
