Axel is the VIIIth(8th) member from Organization XIII, Donning the title "Flurry of Dancing Flames", in the Kingdom Hearts game series. Sporting Red hair, green eyes, and purple upside-down triangle tattoos under his eyes and always seen wearing the Organization's trademark jacket. As with ever memeber of the Organization, he specializes in one element, his being Fire, and utilizing Chakrams as a weapon. His first appearance in the Kingdom Hearts series was in Chain of Memories where he appeared to help No. XI, Marluxia, and No. XII, Larxene, in their efforts to take over the Organization. He then turned against the two and led to their demise. It's later revealed in Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days that Saix had Sent Axel to exterminate all the members of Castle Oblivion. Axel, due to his skill, is usually sent out to be the assassin of the group. While int he Organization Axel 'befriended' Roxas and claimed that Roxas made him "feel like heart had a heart". Axel was sent to retrieve Roxas after he left the Organization but when the XIIIth wouldn't return, Axel was sent to dispose of him.
