The first Frenchwoman in space, Claudie Haigneré, visited the Mir space station for 16 days in 1996, as part of the Russian-French Cassiopée mission. Haigneré was a cosmonaut for the "Centre National d'Études Spatiales" and later the European Space Agency.
Apollo 10 re-entered the atmosphere on May 26, 1969 at almost 40,000 km per hour, which is 11.08 km/second or 24,791 miles per hour. To date, Apollo 10 holds the record for the fastest manned reentry in history.
The Apollo 17 mission landed on the Moon on December 11, 1972. Of all the Apollo astronauts, Apollo 17 astronauts Gene Cernan and Harrison Schmidt spent the longest time out on the lunar surface (more than 22 hours), traversed the greatest distance from the Lunar Module (over 30 kilometers), and collected the largest number of lunar rocks (more than 120 kilograms).
Eugene Cernan holds the title of the last man to walk on the moon. This happened because he was last to enter the Lunar Module after their last EVA on 12th December 1972. Apollo 17 was the last Lunar Mission.
Philip Kenyon Chapman was the first Australian born American astronaut (NASA Group 6; 1967). This question can be answered in two ways, Philip Kenyon Chapman is the first Australian born (he gained US citizenship in 1966) to train as an astronaut, although he never flew in space. He was the mission scientist for Apollo 14. Paul Scully Power is an Australian born Payload Specialist who flew aboard STS-41 in October 5th to 13th 1984, but by that time he had become an US citizen, which he took in 1982. So while Chapman holds the record for the first Australian to train as an astronaut, Power holds the record for the first Australian in space.

Apollo 10 holds the record for the highest speed attained by a manned vehicle (39, 897 kph). Apollo 10 was the first mission broadcast in colour from space. The lunar module for Apollo 10 is still in space (orbiting the sun) - all the others crashed into the moon or burnt up in the Earth's atmosphere.
