Lennon is bit more artistic.
It is Elvis. But Paul McCartney has been making money on his own after the split up.
John Lennon he was a Beatle so that helps
Paul mccartney
That is a matter of opinion. Every Beatles fan has a favourite Beatle. In terms of commercial success Paul McCartney has sold more solo records and has had more solo number one hits than the other Beatles.
john lennon
John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
John Lennon: "We were just a band who made it very, very big, that's all." Paul McCartney: "I feel silly saying our songs will last." George Harrison: (if the band had stayed together) "The solo stuff we've done would have been on Beatle albums." Ringo Starr: (asked if there was a message in their music) "Buy more Beatle records!"
Lennon and McCartney competed to write the best songs, and the songs that would be chosen as the A-sides of Beatles singles. (They worked together to fill the gaps in each other's lyrics.)People called it 'The Musical Rivalry Between Lennon and McCartney' because John Lennon wanted to write rock n' roll music and Paul McCartney wanted to write more Pop music.
i think it was Ringo and george. they were always toghether.
Paul McCartney usually won the annual polls in the 1960s; John Lennon finally won late in their career. They all had tremendous success. Paul has probably done more gigs, but to say which one was more famous is a matter of opinion. As their popularity grew, each one had their own group of fans that liked them personally, and screamed their names at the concerts. Ringo went on to act and record, and had his own band, as did John. George had a great solo career, and did benefit work for people, and invested in the entertainment business. One fact is known that "Yesterday" by Paul McCartney was covered more times than any record in history. I'm not sure...! However, the untimely tragic death of John Lennon in 1980 - propelled major media interest and a new generation of fans for this former Beatle. Thus, it may be argued that since 1980 - John Lennon, has overtaken Paul McCartney in the popularity stakes."Liverpool Airport", was renamed "Liverpool John Lennon Airport" a few years ago in honour of its most famous son. Also, in terms of internet searches, Lennon is "Googled" more often than fellow Beatle, Mc Cartney. Most would say John Lennon.
More likely Paul McCartney. "Let It Be" is a Beatles song, not a Lennon song.
Before his death he was just as famous as Paul McCartney but ever since he was killed he's been more famous than Paul. Part of the reason is not only because he's dead but also because more than half the Beatles songs are Lennon-McCartney songs.
