The Bible tells us that we have the ability to choose what we believe or what to do and that our choices affect our future. The Bible is the only Book that can tells us accurately about our past, present and future. Promises that will come true are : God will bring to an end wars. Read Psalm 46: 9. No more sickness. Read Isaiah 33. 24 No more food shortage. Read Psalm 72: 16 No more sorrow and death. Read Revelation 21: 4 Jehovah described in the Bible as the God " who cannot lie." Read Titus 1: 2. Since he has promised all these wonderful things for the furure, it would be prudent on our part to consider: Is it really possible for humans to live forever in the promised earthly Paradise. Read John 17: 3 Psalm 115: 16 reads. " As for the heavens, they belong to Jehovah, but the earth He has given to the sons of men. Psalm 37: 29 reads. " The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it". That opportunity was offered to Adam and Eve. Read Genesis 2: 15-17. But they made their choice to listen to another voice. Read Genesis 3: 1-5 . Satan promised them that they would be like God in verse 4. Well ! That did not happen, did it? But there is one thing that we can understand is: The god-like complex is all over the world today. 1 John 5: 19 reads: " The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one. And Revelation 12: 9 describes the wicked one in these words. " The original serpent , the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth." So there are only two influences. The accurate knowledge of God or the misleading influence and practice in astrology, fortune-telling and many other supernatural knowledge that can be read in magazines and newspapers.
