Microsoft Visual Studio Express was created in 2005.
Microsoft has Visual Studio 2005, 2008, and (in beta) 2010. There are also older versions. There is no Visual Studio 2007. (Are you talking about Office 2007?)
Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 offers many different services. However, it mainly allows one to code in multiple languages, C++ being the most notable of them.
The program Visual Studio 2005 Professional costs over $300 if you buy it online. If you purchase it directly from the Microsoft website then it will cost you close to $800.
Use your installer disc for Visual Studio 2005.It should do the task for you.
not that much. Just one is older
Visual Studio 2012, 2010, 2008 and 2005 Professional Edition
Yes. Visual Studio 2005 supports running on service pack 2. However, there is absolutely no good reason not to install service pack 3.
Sorry, as of feburary Microsoft removed the downloading of Visual Studio 2005 but 2008 isn't that different, I recommend it. Visual Studio 2008 is having lot of advanced concepts like WPF,WCF,WWF,Linq etc. Entity Framework also an advanced approach introduced in .Net 3.5 SP
Both will be available on the computer (sadly.) As an example, people who do personal programming targetting the XNA framework (the Microsoft gaming package for the XBox 360) install the XNA Express package, which is built on top of Visual Studio C# Express. Those of us with the professional versions have to deal with having both on our machine, since it won't work with the Team Edition of Visual Studio that I have.
