The Incident Logistics Section Chief is responsible for managing all logistical aspects of an incident response. This includes overseeing the procurement, storage, and distribution of resources such as personnel, equipment, and supplies. They ensure that the necessary support services are in place to facilitate effective operations, and they coordinate with other sections to meet the incident's needs efficiently. Additionally, they maintain communication with vendors and other external agencies to ensure a seamless flow of resources.

In the ICS, the OpsSecChief is responsible for managing the priorities of the incident team, their activities and the safety of all personnel in the area. They also prepare the action plan and facilitate communication with other sections and prepare strategies for the assets in place.
