Matthew 2:1-12.
Both the shepherds and wise men were there in both the gospels.
The wise men found Jesus in Bethlehem.
Jesus was likely around two years old when the wise men found him.
There is no story in the Gospels of any Arabian king giving anything to Our Lord Jesus.
You won't find them, on my reading. It only says "wise men from the East", and not even that there were *three*. The traditional names, Caspar, Balthazar and Melchior, are later additions to the Gospels. The Gospels are also silent on ethnicity/colour, despite there being a tradition that one of them was black.
when Jesus was found by the wise men it was said that Jesus was no longer technically a baby! He and his family werent in the stable when the wise men found Him, he was already in a home a year or so later! hope that answers your question
It can be found in the gospels.
The other writers didn't consider them relevant enough to be worth mentioning... only two of the Gospels even bother giving any details at all about Jesus' birth itself. Also, technically the "three wise men" are not in any of the gospels... Matthew says there were "wise men", but he doesn't say how many. Could have been two, could have been 147.
yes.
It is not recorded that He was ever unattended. The Little Drummer Boy found him, the oxen and sheep found him, and the Three Wise Men found him. But His parents, Mary and Joseph, never 'lost' him there.
Epiphany means a knew found understanding or knowledge. So, Epiphany is when we celebrate the new born child, Jesus Christ, being revealed to the wise men and, through them, the world. Epiphany is not used for the wise men, the wise men revealed an epiphany.
