The Antarctic Ocean, consisting of waters of the southern Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific oceans, is the farthest ocean south of Canada.
Lake Ontario. Through the St. Lawrence River, the Great Lakes are connected to the Atlantic Ocean. It's bordered to the north by the Canadian province of Ontario and to the south by New York State in the United States.
Lake Ontario is farthest East out of the Great Lakes.

You may be thinking of Great Bear Lake, or, just to the south, the slightly smaller Great Slave Lake, both located in the Northwest Territories.
Lake superior, Huron and Ontario are the 3 farthest north but Superior goes the furthest north.
There were no Great Lakes during the last Ice Age. The area in which the Great Lakes are presently located was covered by a glacier that was from one to three kilometers thick.
